On Thursday, October 9th, the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library will be closed for one day so staff members can review the system’s strategic plan, service priorities and goals for patron service. This closure is part of a system wide rotation of closures of all branches, over different days – with the Central Branch open throughout.
The closure of each branch will take place:
- Wednesday, Sep 24th – Broadview, Green Lake, Greenwood, Wallingford branches
- Thursday, Sep 25th – Beacon Hill, Columbia, International District/Chinatown, NewHolly, Rainier Beach branches
- Wednesday, Oct 1st – Capitol Hill, Douglass-Truth, Madrona-Sally Goldmark, Montlake branches
- Thursday, Oct 2nd – Lake City, Northeast, Northgate, University branches
- Wednesday, Oct 8th – Delridge, High Point, South Park, Southwest, West Seattle branches
- Thursday, Oct. 9th – Ballard, Magnolia, Queen Anne and Fremont branches
The book drops at all locations will be open during their in-service day, and no fines will accrue on items returned to branches during their closed day. For more information, call the library at 206/386-4636.
