On Wednesday, December 18th, at 6:30p, Dusty Strings will host its quarterly showcase of students, teachers, staff and friends performing for a live crowd – and all interested listeners are invited! For those who want to perform, sign-ups are first-come, first served for one five-minute time slot – no microphones, public address, or amplifiers will be supplied, and a maximum of two-minutes is allowed for set-up. This free performance is a fundraiser for Arts Corps, so donations of $5 are encouraged but not demanded.
This is a great time to be at Dusty Strings, and to give the gift of music! The annual holiday sale is going on now, through December 31st. Choose from guitars, banjos, mandolins, ukuleles, and accessories to please acoustic musicians playing at every level. Don’t forget the small stuff, for stuffing those stockings, like picks, strings, case humidifiers, kazoos, tambourines, straps, etc. If you can’t decide, Dusty Strings also sells gift cards that can be used for products…or a class!
