The Literacy Source Learning Center in Fremont provides free classes and tutoring for adults.
Literacy Source has small group classes in reading, writing, math, English as a Second Language, and citizenship. With one-on-one tutoring and support with citizenship applications, Literacy Source can help improve lives and change family futures. For adults over age 21, Literacy Source also provides high school diploma options with a GED preparation lab.
Located along the METRO bus lines, Literacy Source can provide day and evening classes along with on-line learning opportunities. The winter class schedule begins with a new student orientation on January 5th, but potential – or any interested – students need to call ahead to sign-up at 206/782-2050, or stop by the Learning Center at 720 N 35th St, #103, across the street from the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library.
Help spread the word, and let people know that there are options for change and reaching all educational goals, at any point in life.
