This weekend, District #6 City Council Candidate Catherine Weatbrook will hold two meetings where anyone is welcome to stop by and speak to her – about her candidacy, your issues or how much fun everyone has at Fremont Oktoberfest.
On Saturday morning, September 19th, from 8:30a – 9:30a, Candidate Weatbrook will have a table at the Milstead & Co coffee shop. This is one of six ‘Coffee with Catherine’ events in September. If you miss her at Milstead, visit with the Candidate at Caffe Vita on Phinney Ridge on September 23rd, Caffe Fiore on Sunset Hill on September 26th, and 72nd Street Café on September 30th.
On Sunday evening, September 20th, from 6p – 7:30p, buy your own beer while chatting up Weatbrook at Hale’s Ales Pub. If you are too busy closing Oktoberfest, or just want more chances at mixing beer and politics, attend another ‘Beer With Catherine’ at Chuck’s On 85th on September 27th – or four other watering holes around District #6 in October.
This November, Fremont voters will be allowed – for the first time ever – to vote for a Seattle City Councilmember to represent our area, or District (we’re in Districts #6 or #4.) Informed voters will want to choose carefully who they will select – these gatherings will give them a chance to decide responsibly.
