This Wednesday, and next, on December 23rd & 30th, at 7p, the experienced and entertaining duo of Smitty & Miles will perform their hilarious new and used improv and sketch comedy at West of Lenin, with special guests.
Matt Smith and Pattie Miles, as Smitty & Miles, explore the nature, and inherent ironies, of relationships in their improvisations and sketches, creating characters trying to relate to one another in ways romantic, adversarial, and/or commercial. The December 23rd show will feature Joe Guppy, head writer for KING-TV’s Almost Live, playing a therapist to the couple created by Smitty & Miles, giving advice on their relationship.
On December 30th, enjoy the addition of ‘The Edge’, and comedy by Cynthia Lair, Bhama Roget, Susan MacPherson, and Ken Balenger. A staple of Bainbridge Island entertainment, ‘The Edge’ improv provide a monthly spectacle of randomized comedy. Come enjoy what these visitors can add to the already outrageous pairing of Smitty & Miles.
Purchase advance tickets to both shows, in advance, through Brown Paper Tickets, for $15 general ($10 student/seniors,) or at the door (although, this theater has limited seating.) The hilarity of this improv and sketch comedy, created by two professional comedians, is worth stepping out into the dark of two cold winter’s nights – don’t miss out!
