On Leap Day, Monday, February 29th, we all have a last opportunity to say ‘thank you’ and ‘fare thee well’ (or, your own words…) to the always helpful and ever-present (until now) Jessica Vets!
For the last eight years, Vets has tirelessly served the Fremont community as Executive Director for the Fremont Chamber of Commerce. She resigned from her post last Christmas and will be in the neighborhood – more specifically, at the Red Door – on Leap Day 2016. Everyone is invited to join in a community expression of gratitude and best wishes as she embarks on her new projects.
The party will take place from 4:30p – 6p, with drink tickets and appetizers, along with a microphone for those who want to share kind thoughts (or off-color stories) at this roast/tribute to Vets.
The cost to attend is $20 for Chamber members, and $25 for non-members, and the money goes to fund the Chamber of Commerce projects and activities, including their generous community grants program, the annual Fremont Fair, publication of the Walking Guide to Fremont, and providing free, public information and service to those entering our neighborhood.
For eight years, Vets served diligently as the face of the Fremont Chamber, and the go-to girl for our community. Please join in this last effort to express the gratitude she has so richly has earned!
