In an attempt to support local small businesses, and share the love of their employees for their community, Tableau is sponsoring a Cash Mob at Milstead & Co at Friday, April 8th at Noon.
A cash mob is a flash mob, but instead of singing, dancing or performing an absurd act, participants spend money, to support small businesses that make our community special. Participants are encouraged to spend $20, or whatever they can afford, and the owner of Milstead has ordered exclusive t-shirts and mugs for sale that day, as well as unveiling special spring beverages.
Tableau employees, many of whom use Milstead as their unofficial conference center, meeting room and cafeteria, plus others from the Fremont offices of Adobe, Google and Groundspeak, have been invited to join in this generous showing. The motivation is simple: Tableau is growing and wants to ensure that they act as good neighbors, and support the community that they enjoy and love as their own.
The official mobbing hour will be Noon – 1p, but everyone is welcomed and invited to drop by anytime on April 8th, and use this an excuse to grab a great cup of coffee with friends or co-workers, anytime during regular store hours of 6a – 6p. It is also a great time to become acquainted, or reacquainted, with Milstead in its new, temporary location – 300 feet east of its original site.
