Parley Brings Two Plays By Grace Carmack To WofL On Sep 6th

ParleySep16_GraceCarmackWorkshopsOn Tuesday, September 6th, at 7p, Parley Productions presents a workshop production of two new short plays by Grace Carmack at West of Lenin.  Tickets are pay-what-you-can through reservations to the Parley website.

The two plays being workshopped are:

  • Insufficient – Astrid and Peril are new to love and determined to make it work.  From an awkward dinner date to a not-so-casual hike in the woods, these two are hell-bent on figuring each other out – until an unexpected run-in with a stranger pushes them to what could be the breaking point.
  • The Other Side of Silence – A woman copes with the break-up of a lifetime by packing away everything that makes her hurt.  What she discovers is a seemingly endless stream of troubling thoughts that have kept her from moving on.

Featuring the talents of Erin Gray, Emily Pike, and Kamaria Hallums-Harris, directed by Rebecca Tourino Collinsworth, this workshop will present these two short works with discussions among the audience about the pieces.

Please reserve your seats to this intimate performance – and to the Parley Happy Hour beginning in the WofL lobby starting at 5:45p!  Visit the Parley website.
