This Saturday, July 9th, the Fremont Outdoor Movies will screen the 2004 Will Ferrell romp Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. This comedy, also starring Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd and Steve Carell, takes on the culture of the 1970s, and action news, in a high-camp style ideal for the Outdoor Cinema setting.
Remember, this year tickets to the Outdoor Cinema cost $5, but can be purchased on-line with seat reservations good until 9p. Check it out on Eventbrite.
The lot opens for seating at approximately 7p, and it pays to get there early. Don’t expect to see the crowds that turned out for Red, White & Dead last weekend – but it always helps to set up your campsite early then leave someone on guard while going out to explore the wonderful food and shopping options in the area!
