Outdoor Cinema Screens the Penultimate Teenage Vampire Angst Film

On Saturday, July 16th, the Fremont Outdoor Movie gets Twilight, the 2008 film phenomena that actually managed to convert Forks, Washington into a tourist destination spot!  Come plant your chair in the parking lot and either find out more about the film that started a franchise – or enjoy this particular favorite film the way it was meant to be seen:  projected on a wall, while sitting on the pavement, at the hour vampires prowl…

Starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison, Twilight tells the story of teen heroine Bella Swan, who moves from Arizona to live with her father.  Living on the Olympic Penninsula, Bella finds herself drawn to Edward Cullen – a member of a vampire family – and into the world of the immortals.

The film begins at 9:30pm-ish, with the parking lot open for seating starting at 7p.  Tickets cost $5 per person, and tickets purchased on-line guarantee a seat will be available until 9p.  Buy tickets at the Fremont Outdoor Cinema site, using Eventbrite, but ignore the original title for this Saturday.  The Exorcist will have to wait for another year…
