On Thursday, October 31st, Halloween Day, over 150 Fremont businesses – in West Fremont, Upper Fremont, on Stone Way, and in the central business district – will distribute treat, from 3p – 6p. Children, in costume and accompanied by an adult, can stroll the streets of the Center of the Universe, collecting sweets and gifts – from their favorite (and soon-to-be favorite) retailers, restaurants, offices and other companies giving generously, and enjoying the spirit of the season!!
This year, Trick-or-Treat In Fremont has a new website – at totfremont2019.wordpress.com – with a list of all the participating businesses. Check the list, but walk your route around Fremont looking for orange ‘posters’ denoting the participating businesses – and step inside for a treat!!
Businesses up and down Stone Way, from Tutta Bella down to Brooks and MiiR are a part of the fun in 2019. There are also businesses just off Stone – Laughing Elephant, Fremont Laser, Pablo Y Pablo, Urban Earth Nursery, Experience Momentum, InterConnection, and Fremont Brewing – hoping to see a few costumed kids.
Upper Fremont has dozens of businesses participating, in a nice loop from LeCoin, by Pecado Bueno, up to Naturopathic Family Medicine, then down the other side of the street from Fremont Family Practice, by Daybreak Records, and down to Surf Cleaners. Some of our long-established businesses, like Eyes On Fremont, Fremont Occasional Woodworking and Marketime Foods, are being joined this year by newer arrivals such as Spruce Salon, and In Bocca Al Lupo.
We’ve got several new businesses participating this year. In West Fremont, Ice Box Games, Petoskey’s, and Aslan Brewing will join with established businesses like Fremont Dock Co, Outsider Comics, Northwest Fitness, Caffé Ladro, Roxy’s Diner to offer treats to the costumed kids. In the central business district, 19 Gold, Galaxy Rune, Kin Len Thai Night Bites, and Mod Pizza all welcomed the opportunity to be a part of Trick-or-Treat, and the generous community of Fremont.
The businesses of Fremont hope to see all the children, of our neighborhood and those surrounding us, gathering treats on Halloween Day from 3p – 6p.
In addition, Friday Afternoon Tea will be hosting a special mad science themed afternoon, with experiments and games, from 3p – 4p –find out more on the Facebook Events page.
