Starting on October 31st, and running through November 16th, ‘The Call of Cthulhu’, an adaptation of a story by H.P. Lovecraft, is being performed at West of Lenin. Long-time Seattle Director Gary Zinter is at the helm of this stage production of a horror classic.
Set in Providence in 1954, ‘The Call of Cthulhu’ follows a university professor who is executor of her great-aunt’s estate. While going through her papers, the professor uncovers a mystery spanning eons of time and crossing the world – culminating in murder, insanity and a giant alien god.
The team behind this production of ‘The Call of Cthulhu’ has done adaptations of Lovecraft’s stories for the stage for 10 years at Open Circle Theater. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to stare into the gaping maw of the void, and see what all the screaming is about!
