From November 14th – 23rd, the Seattle Pacific University Theatre Department will be presenting ‘Men On Boats’. See this stirring play, written by Jaclyn Backhaus and directed by Carol Roscoe, on the James Leon Chapman stage in the McKinley Hall Theatre.
This new theater work is loosely based on the true story of ten explorers charting the Colorado River in four boats. The delightful adventure follows this group of insane yet loyal volunteers as they travel down the river, through the Grand Canyon, spinning historical, theatrical, and gender conventions on their heads.
Performances will be Thu, Fri & Sat, at 7:30p, with one matinee performance at 1p on Nov. 23rd. Tickets are available for $15 for adults, for purchase at the door or on-line at the Theatre Box Office (click here.)
