On Wednesday, January 22nd, at Noon, the Wallingford Community Senior Center is hosting a presentation on temporary jobs available working on the 2020 Census.
The national Decennial Census needs community members to join the team, to ensure our local population is counted accurately. The 2020 Census must count every person living in the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the five U.S. territories.
Most positions on the 2020 Census team are temporary and part-time, allowing those already working other jobs, or retired, to earn extra income while performing an important civic duty.
The King County positions pay $23 – $25.50 per hour. To be eligible for these jobs, you must be at least 18-years-old and have a valid Social Security number.
