The 18th Annual Breakfast for Literacy Source will still be happening in May, only due to COVID-19 concerns, the event will become on-line and virtual – and more accessible to everyone, everywhere, who wants to support this educational non-profit.
Even during restrictions and precautions during the coronavirus pandemic, Literacy Source has found ways to continue its tutoring and classes, remotely, for the 2020 Spring term. They do plan to resume in-person educational models, when it is safe, but their outreach to the immigrant and illiterate in our community continues even during COVID-19.
If you can help Literacy Source continue its mission, or just want to learn more about this outstanding non-profit, ‘attend’ the Annual Breakfast on-line on May 12th from 8:30a – 9:30a as they celebrate ‘Education, Equity and Opportunity For All.’ Long-time friends of Literacy Source, as well as students, volunteers and advocates will be a part of this exciting new format acknowledging the vital work of Literacy Source.
