Next week, starting on Tuesday, May 26th, the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) will have construction crews working in front of the new Cedar Speedster building, housing Revel and Aslan Brewing (at 401 N 36th St.) This is for a curb/bus bulb for the METRO transit stop at the southeast corner of N 36th St and Phinney Ave N.
The improvements will also increase the size of the curb, and shorten the crossing for pedestrians. The work is expected to improve the curb ramps to ADA standards, as well as minor drainage repairs.
The project is estimated to take between four and six weeks, with work being done from 7a – 5p. The METRO bus stop relocated, temporarily for the construction, to the west of the intersection (in front of the State Farm office of Jeff Kalvelage.)
