Every Friday in June from Noon – 4p, starting June 5th, InterConnection will welcome contactless donation of used electronics for recycling and reuse at their Dock Drop-Off at 1121 N 35th St. Since 1999, InterConnection has worked to ‘bridge the digital divide’ by repairing, reusing and properly recycling unwanted electronics – for the use of low-income and no-income peoples.
On Fridays in June, from Noon – 4p, InnerConnection asks for donations of electronics – laptops, desktops, tablets, monitors, and retro electronics – that can be reconditioned for use by students and non-profits. These individuals and organizations can do more and be more through your donation and the work of InnerConnection giving them access to affordable technology and the internet. As the COVID-19 pandemic has shown, technology can safely reach out and reach others when people cannot safely do so. Under-served populations can access vital information and important social connections through re-used electronics, including finding work, getting financial assistance, and staying in touch with at-risk relatives and friends.
As the first non-profit to obtain R2 and ISO14001 certification, InnerConnection can help Fremonsters properly dispose of electronic devices while providing low-cost technology to those in need. All donations are tax-deductible and support the InnerConnection mission to ‘Bridge The Digital Divide.’
Drop-off your unwanted electronics, with no contact, from Noon to 4p at the InnerConnection Dock Drop-Off at 1121 N 35th St. Find out more on the InnerConnection website (click here.)
