The November Fremont Art Walk Wanders To Mischief Distillery

Fremont Mischief has incorporated art into its Distillery, including the ‘Crow In Roof’ by Andrew Carson Photo provided by Fremont Mischief

The Fremont First Friday Art Walk remains suspended, for the protection of the small venues that usually participate.  However, the Fremont Mischief Distillery is open now as a COVID-19 safe site for seeing art, and enjoying artisan spirits!

This Friday, November 6th, from 6p – 9, sip a complimentary ‘Brandy Hot Toddy’ (for those 21+) while you stroll the Mischief Distillery grounds.  Fremont Mischief has art on display in every corner of this well-appointed facility – the Courtyard, the Tasting Room, and in the Mischief On Canal Craft Bar & Small Plates.  The rich, eclectic art collection, featuring many local artists, is on-display at all times for visitors, but during Art Walk you’ll be given a chance to learn more about the artists and the art specifically.

Fremont Mischief has kinetic sculptures by Andrew Carson.  They have colorful, roof-top pennants on the Canal Street entrance, as well as behind the Canal Room bar ‘Water Wheel’, a piece of eight wheels, mesmerizing in its movements at different speeds and in different directions.  They’ve also got a limited-edition, signed Chihuly Basket design sketch, and a signed, limited-edition poster by Kyler Martz.

On Friday, November 6th, stop by the Fremont Mischief Tasting Room to find a guide to the art, a complimentary cocktail and a way to explore and enjoy the First Friday Fremont Art Walk!
