Since September, the Fremont Sunday Market has been operating under strict rules and guidelines, to keep vendors, volunteers and visitors safe and healthy. The Fremont Market, operated by Northwest Marketplaces, has received high marks by the Seattle Mayor’s Office and King County/Seattle Public Health. Customers feel safe shopping the Fremont Market, and the Fremont community benefits from the energy and excitement weekly pop-up brings.
Right now, the Fremont Market plans to operate every Sunday through December 20th, from 11a – 4p. With the holidays coming up, it is prime time for shopping – and besides having amazing, artisanal vendors, the Market operates outside, where shoppers can stroll in the fresh air and maintaining safe distances. Additionally, the Market will host special celebrations each Sunday, through December 20th. Stop by to enjoy:
- Nov 15th – Sweet Tooth (click here for the Facebook Event page)

- Nov 29th – Handmade Brigade: Holiday Edition (click here – Facebook Event)
- Dec 6th – Big Flea
- Dec 13th – Sweet Tooth: Holiday Edition

For the moment, the Fremont Market can only, under COVID-19 restrictions, have 66 vendor booths. Northwest Marketplaces currently curates those vendors, to provide the best selection of shopping for its visitors.
The Fremont Market is doing everything possible to keep everyone safe, for shopping or just stopping by. Vendor booths are observing social distancing, with display space on only two sides. Every booth is equipped with a ‘sanitation station’ of clean water, hand soap, hand-sanitizer and paper towels. Visitors are required to wear a mask, enter at N 34th St & Phinney Ave N, and proceed in one direction toward Evanston Ave N.
