The tea shop and café on Stone Way, Friday Afternoon Tea, is now open longer hours for the summer months, so that you can stop by for an after-dinner pastry and iced tea – or a delightful warm beverage – until 8p.
During the June month of PRIDE, this proudly queer-owned business is featuring colorful celebrations and opportunities to give and uplift. For the start of the summery season, Friday Afternoon Tea is offering a special blend of Queer Rock God-inspired Glitter Teas, on ice! They are contributed an ‘Earl Gay’ blend tea for the Savor Seattle Pride Box – a limited-edition gift box full of products created locally and sold to benefit Seattle Pride. In addition, every sale of Earl Gay (including those sold in the Savor Seattle boxes) also benefits the National Queen & Trans Therapists of Color Network.
Learn more by stopping by Friday Afternoon Tea, for a sniff and sip of the incredible collection of loose leaf and custom blended teas, plus tea wares and accessories. The shop has limited outdoor seating available, for those warm summer days, and evenings. For now, face masks are still required to be worn at all times while inside the tea shop, even for the vaccinated, so if you cannot get in, check out all the offerings as well as ordering on-line at FridayTea.com (click here.)
