On Friday, October 29th, at 8p, West of Lenin will live stream, for one-night-only, a Macha Theatre Works production from the 17-Minute Stories series. These solo shows center on the theme of ‘Fierce and (Re)Focused’, and explore the complexities of human existence. On October 29th, Macha Theatre will present ‘My Three Closets (Or Surviving The Avalance)’ written and performed by Valerie Curtis-Newton.
Directed by Sheila Daniels, this personal narrative is intended to further our understanding of each other, ourselves, and the society we create. Curtis-Newton will share the story of her queer-Christian journey toward authenticity. Her 17-minute story will stream live and is considered appropriate for audiences 14years old and older.
Tickets can be purchased for the live stream event, on Oct 29th, and for the opportunity to access the recording for viewing at another, more convenient time. Find out more, about Macha Theatre Works and the 17-Minute Stories series, as well as ticket information on the Macha website (click here.)
