The brainchild of Jenna Bean Veatch, a performing artist, who sees this community event as a way to facilitate connections. Accused of creating, ‘pure, unadulterated, heart-stopping whimsy,” Veatch approaches these singles mixers from an artist’s perspective.
Billed as a dating event, the ‘Not-Creepy Gathering…’ is really about connection, although previous ones have sent out little love ripples that continue to spread. Begun in Bellingham, Veatch has taken the event up and down the West Coast. She creates a space in which people feel comfortable taking risks and opening up the possibility for real connections.
