Over the weekend of the Summer Solstice Art Week, June 19th & 20th, Fremont will host the first performances by the UpUpUp crane truck circus ensemble! The aerialists, musicians, acrobats, clowns and illusionists will be putting on a one-hour, all-ages show – socially distanced and observing all the safety measures necessary for keeping the cast and audiences from transmission of COVID-19.
Right now, a GoFundMe is raising money to support the creation of UpUpUp Inc, and make it possible for this small crane circus ensemble to perform on small farms, for campesino & immigrant communities, nursing homes, and women’s shelters around our region.
Based out of Bellingham, UpUpUp is seven performers from all over our region – many of them past participants in Moisture Festival. An accomplished aerialist, plus dance and fitness instructor, Sadye Osterloh is one of the ‘ring leaders’ of this efforts – and will be bringing the crane circus to Fremont for a preview on June 19th & 20th at 1p & 3p.
Stop by and see this extraordinary exhibition of joy and levity, in a beautiful, whimsical, and hilarious show, on the U-Park lot at Canal St & N 35th St in Fremont. And consider donating to the creative cause – and watching the YouTube video – on the GoFundMe.com page (click here.)
THANK YOU!!
