A great way to start off the Labor Day weekend is with a short stroll through Fremont, to enjoy the art and celebrate the last days of summer.  The Fremont First Friday Art Walk is taking a break to keep everyone safe from transmission of the Delta Variant of COVID-19, but two sites have art available to show following State guidelines.

Stop by on Friday, September 3rd between 6p – 9p at:

See this new show at Portage Bay Goods on-line and throughout September – or this Friday!
  • Down Under Gallery – Come check out the art by Sarah Weathers of Vibrant Poppy, in the garden surrounding the gallery – in front of the ‘Fremont Parade’ mural by Kelly Lyles. Sarah Weathers will be in the garden discussing her work, and people will be able to enter the Gallery, wearing a face mask, in limited groups.  The works inside the space are appropriate for all-ages, and the garden is open to everyone interested in supporting local artists and celebrating the end of summer!

Fill your spirit with art and your mind with creative influences by local creators.  It is vital that everyone take whatever steps necessary to keep themselves, and everyone around them, safe from transmission of COVID-19.  Take those steps while you stroll the installations of art around the Center of the Universe, and enjoy these cultural opportunities.
