Next Monday, June 28th, at 7p, the Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) will hold it’s monthly meeting – open to all Fremont residents who want to discuss concerns and seek improvements for our neighborhood.
According long-time Board Member Judie Clarridge, the FNC is currently led by its Board, without a President. The agenda is open to all who wish time to address an issue or question. For the virtual meeting on June 28th, the Board will discuss (with room for questions and comments from other residents,):
- An update on the response from the Seattle Department of Transportation regarding new art work on traffic signal boxes
- The transition to holding a hybrid FNC meeting, with both virtual and in-person options
- The status of the Duwamish tribe, and the land acknowledgement, as well as signage in Fremont regarding the tribal history
- An update on FNC by-law changes
The FNC have also invited representatives from the Fremont Arts Council to speak about recent activities, the results of their latest survey and plans for the future of the FAC.
If you miss this meeting, the next FNC meeting will be held on July 26th. The June 28th meeting will be held on Zoom (click here,) with meeting IC# 848 9562 5449 and passcode 301088.
