There have been recent thefts at area businesses, and your help is being requested in identifying the thieves and reporting them to Seattle Police.

In the early morning of November 7th, a thief broke in to a local boutique and made off with some property as the alarm sounded.  His break-in was caught on a security camera, but his identity isn’t clear yet.  Also, two other individuals are being sought in connection with this burglary.

These may be the same thieves that broke into a local office building.  Security camera footage is a great advantage in these situations, so Seattle Police can link the crimes, but any help that can also be given in reporting their presence if you see them in the neighborhood would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, last Friday, Nov 2nd, around 5:30p, a medium build white man in a hoodie knocked down and robbed a young man in front of Olympic Jewelry.  The victim declined to report the incident to Police, which will make it harder to capture and convict this criminal.

Seattle Police have been very clear at recent community meetings – reporting such incidents increases the resources they have for preventing future crimes.  (See a Fremocentrist column from June 2018.)  Please report all criminal activity you witness, and encourage reporting and sharing of information to neighbors.  Our cooperation can make our community safer for all!
