The Fremont First Friday Art Walk returns on February 1st, from 6p – 9p, with plenty of beautiful and fascinating art on display, including a harpist performing throughout the night.

Visit the Fremont Art Walk website (click here) to get a list of participating venues, but be sure to check out the displays at:

  • Esters Enoteca – Artist Gabrielle Abbott will be showcasing her new works, called ‘Yoni Fowers’, while certified harp therapist Alyssa Martini entertains.  Martini has performed at Hempfest, the West Seattle Summerfest and for the Fremont Arts Council.  She also has a new album, ‘Pretend We’re Alone’, which has been featured on KEXP.  Enjoy her music while soaking in the works of award-winning muralist, painter and multi-media artist Abbott and her works exploring themes of spirituality, social justice, and sexual expression.
  • Portage Bay Goods – Love and art are in the air at the procrastinator’s gift shop with the folksy florals and aspirational affirmations of Yuko Miki of Honeyberry Studios.  Come enjoy the art prints and cards created by Miki, and all the wonderful creativity on display at Portage Bay.
