Coming up at West of Lenin, February 16th – March 4th, will be three short monologues written by well-respected playwrights, exploring identity and our common humanity.  ‘Three Americans: Voices of Hope’ will bring the words of three diverse and celebrated playwrights directly to audiences.

Under the direction of Anita Montgomery, ‘Three Americans’ showcases short works by Yussef El Guindi, Regina Taylor, and Mashuq Deen.  The pieces are:

  • ‘The Birds Flew In’ performed by Annette Toutonghi
  • ‘Déjà Vu’ performed by Cynthia Jones
  • a selection from ‘Draw The Circle’ performed by Megan Ahiers
