This Saturday and Sunday, June 16th & 17th, History House will host an expanded line-up of the Music In The Sculpture Garden concert series. Produced by John Nordstrand, the free summer concert series offers families and/or music fans a cool/dry place to enjoy some of the best of the Puget Sound’s acoustic musicians.
On Saturday, Victory Music will offer a day of music with four concerts held before and after the Solstice Parade passes by History House. The line-up starts in the morning held in the covered courtyard featuring:
- 10a – Percy Hilo & Friends
- 11a – Down The Road
- Noon – Solstice Parade
- 2p – The Cleftones
- 3p – Hounds @ Bay
On Sunday, the Music In the Sculpture Garden series welcomes The Whateverly Brothers starting at 2p. Chris Glanister, Matthew Moeller and Dan Roberts lend their considerable talents to this threesome that creates, ‘homemade three layer harmonies with instrumental frosting!’
The concerts at History House will continue on Sundays after this weekend, through the end of July. Sponsored in part by the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, and generous donations from area businesses and supporters, the concerts are open-to-the-public and free – although donations and tips are welcomed.
