On Monday, December 11th, at 6:30p, hear from three progressive politicians with fresh ideas:  City of Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan, Seattle City Councilmember Teresa Mosqueda and State Senator-elect Manka Dhingra.  At Hale’s Palladium, take part in a live recording of Civic Ventures podcast, ‘The Other Washington’, as these three newly elected leaders are interviewed on their recently acquired administrative duties.

Learn about the issues that drive these three recently chosen community leaders.  Durkan, a former U.S. Attorney, is only the second female mayor in the history of Seattle.  Elected to the City Council at-large, Mosqueda has served as the consumer advocate on the Washington Affordable Care Act Exchange Board and the Washington State Labor Council AFL-CIO.  A former Prosecuting Attorney with King County, Dhingra is Seattle’s most recently elected State Senator.

Presented by Town Hall Seattle, tickets to this event, part of the Civics series, cost $5, through StrangerTickets, with doors open at 5:30p.  Come hear from these three progressive, and female, leaders.
