The City of Seattle Office of Arts & Culture is creating a Public Artist Roster of approximately 160 emerging, mid-career and established artists to be pre-qualified for future public art projects. Applications for this roster will be accepted up to April 12th, at 11p.
The Office of Arts helps locate artists for projects at city utility facilities, parks, street right-of-ways, etc. This roster will help with finding artists who can develop temporary and permanent art works, more quickly. The artists on the roster will need to be professionals, over 18 years of age, residing in the U.S., and interested in working collaboratively in public settings. Those artists who apply as a team may not also apply as individuals. The artists listed on the roster will be eligible for projects with budgets up to $175,000.
