The City of Seattle Office of Arts & Culture is creating a Public Artist Roster of approximately 160 emerging, mid-career and established artists to be pre-qualified for future public art projects.  Applications for this roster will be accepted up to April 12th, at 11p.

The Office of Arts helps locate artists for projects at city utility facilities, parks, street right-of-ways, etc.  This roster will help with finding artists who can develop temporary and permanent art works, more quickly.  The artists on the roster will need to be professionals, over 18 years of age, residing in the U.S., and interested in working collaboratively in public settings.  Those artists who apply as a team may not also apply as individuals.  The artists listed on the roster will be eligible for projects with budgets up to $175,000.

Find out more about this application, including an upcoming public workshop on applying held at the Hillman City Collaboratory on March 18th, or the Webinar on March 22nd, on the Call For Entry.org website.  For answers to specific questions about the roster application process, contact Elisheba Johnson at 206/684-0182 (elisheba.johnson@seattle.gov) or Marcia Iwasaki at 206/233-3964 (marcia.iwasaki@seattle.gov).
