Apply Now To Fund A Neighborhood Night Out Activity, Or Party?

NightOutAd2015_11390077_1052426351434968_6019633806178767330_nOn August 4th, the 31st Annual Night Out takes place, and the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods has funds available to support small community events.

The Small Sparks Fund provides matching dollars for neighborhood-initiated projects that promote community engagement.  Up to $1,000 is available to help fund Night Out planning and activities, such as outreach efforts, educational fairs, bike parades, and a neighborhood clean-up.  Night Out is a national crime prevention event designed to increase neighborhood involvement in anti-crime efforts and to unite communities.

The deadline for applications for a Night Out Small Sparks grant is Monday, June 22nd at 5p, but applicants must register on-line by June 19th to apply.  For more information on the application process, visit the Small Sparks website or call 206/733-9916.
