The grey of Seattle’s autumn might have fallen upon us, but we can still enjoy very colorful art at the September 4th Fremont First Friday Art Walk, from 6p – 9p.
In over a dozen venues, check out great original art this Friday including:
- Colorful character work by Narboo showing for the second time at Portage Bay Goods. “I have loved drawing my own cartoon characters ever since I could pick up a crayon,” explained Narboo (a.k.a. Brandon Baker), “I use bold lines and vivid colors to hopefully brighten up your day.”
- Eye-catching images and zany compositions by Eli Wolff are on the wall among the other art at Frame-Up Studios. With a fondness for cartoons, sci-fi, fantasy book covers and 70s movie posters, Wolff makes viewers laugh and delight through his inspired takes on modern culture.
Find more venues, and their artists, through the Fremont First Friday website. Brave the drips and the grey, and take a stroll to see the art this Friday – and meet the artists – at this free, monthly exhibition of original creative works!
