In honor of the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday, on February 14th, Glass Eye Studio has offered to open its gallery (at 600 NW 40th) for locals looking to peruse and purchase high-quality glass art gifts this week. The gallery has pieces from all the Glass Eye collections, in first-rate quality – not like the samples and seconds to be sold at the annual sidewalk sale coming in May.
The glass pieces – dishes, ornaments, paperweights, vases, etc. – are priced comparably with the same items sold in the local Made In Washington stores and Space Needle gift shop. Glass Eye, a Fremont-based manufacturer and wholesaler, wants to encourage shoppers to visit its retail partners, but for those already shopping our area, the gallery will be open this week (February 10th – 14th) from 8:30a – 4p.
