Neighborhood and Community Arts Groups can now apply for two unique grants intended to foster creativity among people of all cultural backgrounds and encourage engagement in diverse arts and cultural experiences.

The Office of Arts & Culture has opened to applications for the 2016 Neighborhood & Community Arts (NCA) program, along with a new pilot program in partnership with the Seattle Department of Parks & Recreation to ‘Put the Arts In Parks’ (PAP).  The NCA funds neighborhood arts councils and community-based groups with established track records.  The PAP supports these same groups to activate city parks with new and established festivals or events, from money contingent on the passing of the Parks District budget.
