Art Walk Gets A Move On April 6th

The Fremont First Friday Art Walk gets moving this Friday, April 6th from 6p – 9p.  This month Adobe Systems Inc has joined the line-up of participating venues, with art work by Kate Protage.  Stop by Adobe before setting out to explore the art all over the ‘hood.

Located east of Fremont proper, Johnston Architects has on display incredible works by Jon Taylor, including constructions of frameworks, abstracted arrays, funnels or diverters.  Fremont Jewelry Design has colorful watercolors by Jan Tervonen.  Sarcasm and bizarre humor decorate the walls Portage Bay Goods, with works by Matthew Inman – The Oatmeal

Tucked away above LTD Bar + Grill, find the Brown Paper Tickets treehouse offices, and this month the display of the amazing images captured by Dennis Golden.  Turn down the alley behind Fremont Jewelry to find Pel’Meni Dumpling Tzar, featuring the storied works of Juliet Salvato (as always, mention the phrase ‘Make art, not war’ and get $1 off on an order of dumplings.)  Seek out ArtFX Gallery and the whimsical mirrors created with found objects by Jane Perrigo.

This month, Frame Up Studios presents works by Pacific Northwest artist Helaine Ettinger.  High Dive has compelling photos by Tracy Carver (along with beer and wine specials.)  Hub And Bespoke continues to show the intricately engineered works of Soren O’Malley.

Also find your way to 509 Winery & Tasting Room, and Evo TimesInfinity Gallery to find more art, and entertainment, awaiting.

The Fremont Art Walk will take off in April, and you will want to partake of some of the best free entertainment available!  See you there!
