On Saturday, September 26th, from 12:30p – 4p, the Seattle Office Of Arts & Culture has arranged a bicycle tour of public art across Seattle.

Starting from the Salmon Bay Natural Area (at 3419 NW 54th St,) at the ‘A Salish Welcome’ art installation, the free, family-friendly tour will roam around our city to end at the Seattle Art Museum Olympic Sculpture Park. The 10-mile (round-trip) route, appropriate for all abilities, will include encounters with two of the artists – Marvin Oliver (the ‘Salish Welcome,’) and Roger Fernandes and his ‘Snoqual’/ ‘Moon the Transformer’).

This tour, offered in partnership with the Seattle Neighborhood Greenways, is free but RSVPs have been requested – by last Monday, September 21st. Visit Eventbrite to RSVP now, if you still want to take part in this educational and entertaining cycling adventure.
