On Monday, March 20th, from 6:30p – 8p, The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar will host another North Seattle College course, this time a basic, all-encompassing class in how to select, age and enjoy wine, aptly named ‘Wine 101.’
Taught by Sommelier David LeClaire and Barrel Thief owner Christopher Gronbeck, students can learn the nuances that separate the cheap from the quality wines. Gronbeck and LeClaire will also instruct on the differences between American and European wines, along with the nature of different grape varieties.
This class is open to anyone 21 or older (picture identification required,) and students are encouraged to eat before attending class. Registration is $39, through North Seattle College, with a $10 materials fee payable to the instructors at class.
