On Monday, November 28th at 7p the Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) will host its monthly meeting to discuss residential concerns and issues, at Doric Temple #92.
The draft agenda for the meeting listed as its primary item for November a presentation by the City of Seattle on its new Neighbor Outreach & Engagement. The City, and the Mayor, have chosen to move away from the Department of Neighborhoods District Council system, and this new direction will be shared and discussed.
The FNC will also review neighborhood projects underway, and hear committee reports. Recently, the FNC has been looking at the HALA proposals and safer streets for pedestrians.
The FNC hosts monthly meetings throughout the year on the fourth Monday of each month, although they will take a break in December. Find the latest about the FNC, and its discussions, on the FNC website and the Facebook page, as well as information about contacting the FNC Board with your own residential concerns.
Of course, the best way to bring residential issues to the FNC Board is by attending a monthly meeting – either on November 28th or the next meeting on January 23rd, 2017.
