This weekend, there will be two spectacular shows at Norm’s Eatery & Alehouse and The Backdoor, intended to celebrate the season and raise money for Lifelong and PAWS.

On Saturday, December 15th, at 8:30p, at Norm’s, the Drag Queens & Jingle Bells will present a Holiday Drag Show hosted by Karmen Korbel.  The show will feature performances by Sativa, Hera Diamandis, and Angela Visalia.  The suggested donation of $5 will be given to PAWS, a 501(c)3 non-profit that helps animals through adoption, health care and advocacy.

On Sunday, December 16th, at 5p, The Backdoor will co-host, with The Uncommon Cottage, a fundraiser for LifelongRetrogressive – A Speakeasy Party will provide an evening of Dance, Decadence and Thanks GIVING!  Dress in 1920s fashions, and be part of the magic.  Purchase tickets for $25 on EventBrite, or in person at The Uncommon Cottage, to get access to a tapas buffet.  Find out more about this celebration of the season, and Lifelong, on the Facebook Event page.

Dress in your 20s best and enjoy a 'Retrogressive Speakeasy Party & Lifelong Fundraiser' at The Ballroom on Dec 16th.

Finally, on Tuesday, December 18th, Norm’s and Roxy’s Diner will provide a family-friendly way to give, by welcoming Santa for photos along with the Sugar Plum Elves.  From 3p – 5p, get pictures with Santa at Roxy’s, and from 5p – 8p get pics with your dog and Santa.  For those 21+, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for pictures from 8p – 10 at The Backdoor.  At all three eateries, pictures will be available for a $10 suggested donation.

Visit all three establishments, this weekend or anytime this month, to find other ways you can participate in the Month of Giving, including donations of items needed by those most vulnerable in our society.
