The southbound exit from Aurora Avenue North/SR99 onto Dexter Way North will be closed from 9a – 3p on Friday, March 29th.
According to the press release, the Seattle Department of Parks & Recreation and the Seattle Department of Transportation must close this exit, located just south of the Aurora Bridge, to allow arborist to remove a tree currently blocking the sidewalk on Dexter Way North.
Drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route, either by exiting Aurora Avenue north or south of this exit, or taking the Fremont Bridge to Dexter. For more information about this closure contact Deb Brown, Aboriculturist, at 206/386-1688 or deborah.brown@seattle.gov
