Awning Frames Installed On McKenzie Building

As promised to the Fremont Neighborhood Council, the awnings removed from the McKenzie Building during the remodel for Chase Bank are being replaced.  Overnight, metal frames for awnings were installed on the building along the N 34th (Patches Place,) and Fremont Avenue sides.  Chase Bank, ZapVeer and Dusty Strings now have these frames hanging over their storefront entrances.

Perhaps more importantly, the northbound bus stop on Fremont Avenue N at N 34th St will now have an adjacent sheltered area where riders can wait, just in time for the wet and cold fall weather.
