B.F. Day Art Opening & Display

On Friday, April 29th, from Noon – 2p, a very special art show will take place in Fremont.  In the library of B.F. Day Elementary School (3921 Linden Ave N) will be displayed paintings – on canvas – done by students, and commissioned by Windermere Realty.

As Windermere opens their new Wallingford/Fremont office, at 34th & Meridian, they’ve requested paintings by students, of Fremont and Washington State sights.  Overseen by Julie Trout, B.F. Day’s art teacher, the works will eventually be sold, with the proceeds returning to support B.F. Day programs, but this could be the last opportunity to see these pieces before they get hung in the Windermere offices.

Come join others in the community as we celebrate art, and encourage the future generation of artists.  Public welcome!

While there, check out B.F. Day Elementary School, which has a long, proud history of educating the children of Seattle, and exists as the oldest, continually operating school in the Seattle School District.
