For families who depend upon meals through the Seattle Public Schools, to feed their children during the school year, there are free meals being served at B.F. Day Elementary School – and at three additional mobile sites.

Students, and their families, can stop by B.F. Day Elementary School for meal pick-ups Mondays – Fridays from 11:15a to 1:15p.  While Seattle Schools remain closed, during the COVID pandemic, these programs will provide food to the families in need.  On Wednesdays, there will also be fruit and vegetables available.

Recently added, a Lunch Bus will be traveling amongst three sites where families can pick-up meals:

The times are approximate but the meals are genuine.  On October 26th, the mobile unit distributed 40 lunches.

Find out more about the feeding programs on the B.F. Day website (click here,) and please share the word with any Public Schools families that need help finding food for their children!
