The Bastyr Center for Natural Health on Stone Way is connected with a huge community of those looking out for the health of our entire community. Right now, in the New Year, they offer a great wealth of ways we can all take steps towards better health, even as we emerge from the pandemic.
Currently, Bastyr has two articles about improving your health in 2021:
- Making Your Health a Priority – Gain the healthiest version of you in the New Year with these easy tips to start right, by Rubaina Dang
- Mental Health Help – This important aspect of overall health is in more danger than ever, and Bastyr can help identifying and addressing problems and finding solutions. Check out ‘Five Tips To Combat Anxiety’ by Dr. Jean-Roberto Don and Xavier Aponte (click here,) and find information about getting more help if needed, as well.
Bastyr also offers on-line classes, through the University and the Health Clinic, in how to use Naturopathic and common sense principles to improve your health. Tonight (January 4th,) join a live virtual talk at 6:30p on ‘Simple Steps to Optimizing Your Health’ (click here.)
Starting on Saturday, January 9th, at 9a, join a four-week, on-line course (for a fee of $50,) in the fundamentals of whole food, plant-based nutrition. This Culinary Certificate Course, through Bastyr University, could improve your repertoire of healthy meals – or start the New Year with a basic understanding of what you can achieve, on your own at home!
