On August 5th, help raise money for Nepal Peace Home while enjoying live, original music by Jessica Dobson, Bryan John Apple, Zach Bolen and Shay Carlucci. At a concert held in the Great Hall of the Fremont Abbey Arts Center, hear new music while making life better for the children.
Nepal Peace Home is a reconciliation orphanage that provides a safe home and education to the displaced children of Nepal. While always in need of support, this benefit show will raise money specifically to supply a newer, healthier sewage system for the facility. All show profits will be put towards building a cleaner future for the kids of Nepal.
The concert will feature the incredible front woman, Jessica Dobson, lead singer and multi-instrumentalist of Deep Sea Diver. Having performed with Beck, The Shins, Spoon, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Dobson has most recently lent her bravado and fearlessness to her own personal projects, such as Deep Sea Diver. Also enjoy the music of Bryan John Appleby, a local singer/songwriter celebrating release of his latest album, ‘The Narrow Valley,’ and Zach Bolen and Shay Carlucci, both of whom are releasing albums of their solo works for the first time this year.
Purchase advance tickets to the concert for $15 through the Fremont Abbey website, or get tickets at the door for $20. Doors open at 7p, with the show starting at 8p. The concert is all ages, although bar drinks will be available for purchase (with profits going to Nepal Peace Home,) by those 21+.
Funded by CoAction Foundation, a 501(c)3, all-volunteer organization, all donations to Nepal Peace home are processed by CoAction, tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and will go 100% to funding work on the ground in Nepal.
