Over the weekend of June 25th – 27th, The Blind Café returns to Fremont to bring diners another opportunity for a profoundly visceral experience. Purchase tickets today to be sure you have a seat, at NalandaWest, for dinner, music and a mind-bending/heart-opening evening.
This pop-up evening for ‘Positive Social Change In The Dark’ serves attendees a delicious vegetarian meal, prepared by a local chef, and served by a blind wait staff. Feel more alive, awake, present, and connected to friends, family and other fellow diners as you eat in the pitch dark, and enjoy live, original music. After dinner, participate in a question & answer session with the wait staff and your keynote speaker to find out more about the blind experience.
The Blind Café partners with local blind organizations, and our blind community, to raise awareness about the daily challenges facing the blind. Tickets to The Blind Café are sold on a sliding scale of $65 – $195, with two servings taking place each evening. Purchase tickets through Brown Paper Tickets, or find out more about The Blind Café through its website.
