On Tuesday, September 4th, at Fremont Abbey Arts Center the band Bombadil will return to performing with pieces from their new album ‘Fences.’
“It’s more than just an album,” said Bombadil drummer and vocalist James Phillips, “It is a new path; a reset after several challenging years.” Three years ago, the band lost a bandmate and breaking up seemed inevitable. After a period of exploration and stepping out of their comfort zones, the remaining members of Bombadil have returned as a band reborn!
‘Fences’ features eleven new, original songs composed by the Durham, North Carolina based trio. The album is considered their most remarkable work to date: meticulously crafted, yet accessible and unadorned. In addition to the new album, Bombadil also has reason to celebrate with their song, ‘Long Life’, now being heard on the television program ‘Marvel’s Runaways’ on Hulu.
