On Sunday, December 15th, starting at 6:30p, local author and dance instructor Gabriela Condrea will present her new book, ‘When 1+1=1: That ‘Impossible’ Connection’. Join a cozy evening of literature, whiskey and tango at The Barrel Thief, starting with this interactive presentation, and leading into a milonga – a social tango dance, free for watchers and only $5 for participants.
‘When 1+1=1’ explores human relationships through the metaphor of tango. According to Condrea, “Tango is simply a representation of how we relate to each other.” On December 15th, enjoy a happy hour drink and experience some of the partner games that illustrate the concepts shared in ‘When 1+1=1.’ The reading, from both the English and Spanish editions, will be partially recorded for the audio book version. Come hear more about the book, the world-wide travels that inspired it, and about the energy we share and the connections we make.
